TVAirScreen Privacy Policy
Effective 30 September 2026 · Applies to TVAirScreen for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
TVAirScreen is made by Uriphium (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
Your photos and documents
- When you send photos or PDFs, they travel directly between your devices over your local network (Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth) using Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity, with encryption required. They never pass through our servers or any cloud service.
- The app only reads the photos, files or camera shots you choose. It doesn’t browse your photo library by itself.
- The Apple TV keeps received photos in temporary storage for the current session only. They are deleted when you choose Clear, or the next time the Apple TV app starts.
- Photos you view full screen on your iPhone or iPad stay on that device.
Connecting and the guest code
- To find each other, your devices share their device names on the local network. The Apple TV shows the name of the phone that is connected.
- When a phone enters the code shown on the Apple TV, the Apple TV remembers that phone by a random identifier that Apple gives the app (it is not your name, phone number or Apple ID). This list stays on your Apple TV. “Forget paired devices” on the TV deletes it.
Usage statistics (iPhone and iPad app)
The iPhone and iPad app uses Google Firebase Analytics, without Apple’s advertising identifier, to count how the app is used. We use this only to find problems and decide what to improve.
- What is collected: app events such as screens opened, how many photos were sent and whether sending worked, connection errors, and steps in the Pro purchase screen (not payment details). Firebase also records an app-instance identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, language, and an approximate region derived from your IP address.
- What is not collected: your photos, documents, their content or file names, your name, email, contacts or precise location, and the names of your devices.
- Not used for tracking: this data isn’t linked to your identity, isn’t combined with data from other companies’ apps or websites, and isn’t used for advertising.
- Retention: event data is kept for no more than 14 months and then deleted by Google.
- Google processes this data for us under its Firebase privacy and security terms.
The Apple TV app and the TVAirScreen share button don’t collect usage statistics.
Purchases
TVAirScreen Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. The app checks with Apple, on your device, whether you have bought Pro or first downloaded the app while it was paid.
Children
TVAirScreen is suitable for all ages. It has no accounts, chat or public sharing, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Photos, camera and local network access can be turned off at any time in Settings › TVAirScreen.
- Deleting the app removes its data from your device, and the analytics identifier with it.
- Because usage statistics aren’t linked to your identity, we usually can’t find a particular person’s data. If you’d like us to try to access or delete it, email us and we’ll help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
